The PIB programme offers Dutch businesses and knowledge institutions the opportunity to enter long term strategic public-private partnerships to realise international economic ambitions. The partnership includes Netherlands Enterprise Agency, which is a government agency with access to a global network of embassies, consulates and Netherlands Business Support Offices (NBSOs). Together with clusters of Dutch businesses and knowledge institutions, the Dutch government seeks for international collaborations within the sport sector.
A cluster of businesses and the Dutch government are currently involved in two PIB programmes. Through these partnerships, the cluster positions Dutch companies that are active in field of sport. The following three PIB programmes are ongoing:
