It can also be used as a platform to achieve social inclusion objectives as well as business goals. SportsNL wants to connect like-minded public and private parties to harness the power of sport.
About SportsNL
SportsNL is a public-private initiative that was set up to connect parties active within the Dutch sport sector. By bringing Dutch companies, government agencies, social organisations and knowledge institutions together, the Netherlands wants to be identified as and remain your partner for inclusive, sustainable and innovative (top-level) sport experiences. SportsNL is coordinated by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency.

Harnessing the power of sport for international trade, diplomacy, knowledge and innovation exchange, and social programmes.
In order to realise the aforementioned vision and mission, SportsNL aims to reach and connect a broad network of businesses, government institutions, sport and social organisations, and knowledge centres. This connection will be achieved by engaging a wide array of shared priorities and plan long-term public-private partnerships on these priorities. Within this planning, the Netherlands will focus on a variety of activities, both inbound and outbound.
Team SportsNL
Team SportsNL comprises of representatives from Dutch public and private sport organisations, all internationally active. The group discusses common interests regarding the global sport sector. The members also perceive interesting international collaborations between businesses, sport organisations, knowledge institutions, social organisations and governments. When opportunities are recognised, SportsNL will do its best to stimulate collaborations between the relevant parties and take action to establish a joint approach. Active Esports Arena: Use your body as a controller
Co-initiated by Eindhoven Football Club PSV, Active Esports Arena combines gaming software with a harness that transforms your body into a controller. The idea creates a unique gaming experience with many challenges, also physical ones, taking the gamer out of their desk chair and onto the virtual gaming floor.
Cruyff Courts: ensuring inclusiveness and equality
The Cruyff Foundation initiates and supports projects that stimulate sports and games and, above all, cooperates with local communities. Their Cruyff Courts project offers freely accessible and safe places for children to play. It is a place to make friends, discover your own talents, valuable experiences that they carry with them as they develop physically and mentally, and as they move through society.
Signify: shine the light
Signify is the world leader in lighting for professionals, consumers and lighting for the Internet of Things. Their energy efficient lighting products, systems and services provide sport fans a superior quality of light during games. Also, their Trulifi LiFi system provides stable internet through light waves which is free from interference.
